Service was friendly but we did have to wait a while for takeaways. Pizza is tasty. The gluten free base is almost like a deep pan base. It was loaded up with toppings and my partner said my GF pizza looked better than his.
Wow we loved this place. Shame we found it on our 2nd last night. We definitely would have eaten there more than once. Great pizza’s (vegetarian was delicious) meatball appetiser and calamari. Cannoli’s were a nice end to the night. Beautiful location in the tree tops of the Galleria. Well worth a visit.
My wife and I decided to give this pizza joint a go at approximately 9:00PM. The staff at the front were friendly but there was a 10-15 minute wait to be seated. When we entered we noticed numerous empty tables that could’ve been filled by us, but for some reason they couldn’t seat us right then and there. That was kind of an upsetting and confusing start of the night. The pizza was not very good for a pizzeria. (the picture looks better than it tastes) Especially for brick oven pizzas. The dough was super thin, may as well have been toppings on cheese. The dough could not support the contents on it. In addition, it was very greasy and all around unsatisfying.I won’t return to this place when visiting Oahu.
We went to Flour & Barley on a couple of different occasions while on a recent trip to Honolulu – and both times were great. The first time we sat at their bar, had a few drinks and a share platter which was pretty good. The bartender was super friendly and happy to give us recommendations for different things to do. Only negative, the bar is facing inward and not outward towards that beautiful ocean and Waikiki beach! Oh well! The second time we went, we sat down for a meal of pizzas, wings (for the carnivores clearly), and desserts – again pretty tasty. Nothing that’s going to ‘blow you away’ but when you combine the great energy from our lovely server, the nice atmosphere – with the food and drink – it’s a good spot to enjoy a meal with family and friends 🙂 twobearsandafork.com
