Heavenly makes seriously heavenly French toast. Nice and crispy on the outside and oh-so-soft and squishy on the inside. Their loco mocos was quite nice too and so are their smoothies pigouttravels.wordpress.com
Heavenly was located next to the first hotel we stayed at during our visit and we very quickly fell in love with their tasty food. We could not fault any of our meals any of the multiple times we ate here. All their ingredients were organic and locally sourced. Their breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus were all excellent and provided many options. It was clearly a very popular spot to eat with it quite often being full of customers. Highly recommend their garlic prawns or loco moco.
Wish I could have breakfast here every day!! I ordered the Morning Set which came with 1 salad (out of 3 choices), taro & wheat buns, breakfast juice of the day and a mini acai bowl. The acai bowl was out of this world! I loved the crunch of the Hawaiian granola with the delicious acai which was nearly but not yet frozen (I love that texture!). It left me wanting more, I might come back for the full sized acai bowl. The salad was standard but the dressing that came with it was so delicious and the juice of the day was a carrot/ginger/apple juice which was lovely. Also perfect portions of each element for me. My partner had the loco moco and I did g@t to try some before he cleaned up his plate – BEST loco moco we’ve had so far!!!
Cute cafe which we visited due to seeing some good online reviews. Lovely service by the waitresses and yummy iced coffee and acai smoothie. We ordered the loco moco and the pork eggs benedict. Both were super delicious!! A little on the pricey end for cafes but good quality food and atmosphere
What a nice little find, my cousin was looking for a place that served a healthy brunch and suggested we try this place as it was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel.Well the breakfast was amazing I had the egg Benedict with the pulled pork and kale. It was delicious and hit the mark along with my blue hawaii cocktail. We liked it so much we came back for dinner the night after and I had the green curry with chicken. It was delicious, however they were a little skimpy with the organic chicken there was literally 4 bits of cubed chicken only!!A few friends ordered the steak which only came with literally steak and 6 bits of veggies and not really a whole meal, we had to order a side of plain rice to complement the meal too.Over all it was a pleasant experience and the restaurant is athetically very relaxing with surfboards on the walls and painting of the beach.
Just found it walking past. Awesome food. Lived the Loco Moco.. they make the local food healthy! Definitely a bit pricey. Try the Acai bowl.
We first came across Heavenly during our 2015 vacation. Their use of local, organic ingredients stood out to me and I knew that if we came back, Id want to try their breakfast again. This year, it seems like acai bowls have been very popular. I had my first acai bowl this year while visiting Egg n Things and I have to admit that theyre pretty awesome.First off, heres the Kalua Pig Benedict with lilikoi butter, Okinawa purple potato wheat muffin and local salad. The purple potato was similar to a sweet potato. Unlike during our last visit, the eggs were cooked too hard on this dish so no runny yolk. Otherwise, the pork was quite tender.Pitaya refers to dragon fruit and this Pitaya Bowl ($11) was served with Big Island honey, Hawaiian granola, coconut milk and topped with pineapple and strawberries. Just like an acai bowl, the pitaya portion of this dish is served chilled so its similar to a smoothie with the granola imparting a textural contrast.Dragon fruit by itself has a very mild taste so the addition of honey and fresh fruit is necessary to enhance the sweetness of the dish.Im really missing the pitaya bowl right about now. pennyandrusty.wordpress.com
