My hula dog was pretty good. I had a taro bun, with pineapple relish, guava and spicy sauce. The spicy jalapeo sauce was not spicy AT ALL so if you like slice I’d order something hotter. It’s a tad $$ but I’d still get one again.
I really enjoyed my hula dog last week. The sauces and relishes were nice, but not at all spicy. I found there to be a lot of bun for the amount of dog, but it was still good. Glad to try Hawaii’s version of an American classic. My only note is that the location is odd to find as it’s located inside the grocery store, but once you find it, its worth a try. Polite service too. Thanks!
Awesome!!. Best Hot Dog or Hula Dog I’ve ever tasted. They use a polish sausage, not your generic frankfurter and they add so many different flavours to the hot dog it becomes not just a hot dog, a better hot dog. We had the hot dog on white bread, coconut relish mild salsa, just amazing….

OK….it’s a hot dog…. But it’s a dam good hot dog… Hot dog bun is different, but delish.. Bun is served with a whole at the top as if the bun was standing …Comes with all these different sauces… You can have the norm…. But try one of these sauces it’s delish…
Too much bread (and I love bread) and too much sauce after the first half (the first half was pretty good). Probably won’t come here again – it wasn’t as good as we remembered five years ago.
