This was a very tasty hot dog – the sauces and relish were flavourful. The sausage itself was good too. The taro bread was sweet but the taro taste was not very prominent. The hot dog was small for the price (regular sized hot dog but $7) however I would recommend trying it out.
They recently opened up a food truck location on Kuhio and Kapuni St. in Waikiki. Hours 11:00 am-7:00 pm. They have red picnic tables on a little lawn area right next to a ice cold coconut stand and an as yet unopened fish taco truck. They seem to be creating a little food truck court in the area. They have a garlic shrimp truck and a bubble tea stand across the street. The veggie dogs here are amazing! They are so much like a regular hot dog I had to double check they didn’t give me the wrong kind. Check them out if you haven’t tried them yet and if you’re local they have a kamaaina discount.
