Pancakes are too thick and not the best taste ever. We had some eggs with vegetables; quite ordinary. Cheap feed to fill your stomach. However, waiters and staff was great. They had smiles on the faces as well as manager walking around, making sure everything was ok.
Located in the heart of Waikiki. We were seated immediately upon arrival and wait staff attended to our orders within a minute or so. Out waiter also checked on us a couple of times during our meal to make sure we had everything we needed. We were very happy with the service.Food was also good. Fried chicken and waffles was great as well as the eggs and hash brown. The only downside were the red velvet pancakes that came with my order. They looked amazing in the photo but underwhelming in real life. Definitely not as red as they looked in the photos on the menu. They were also a bit uncooked in the middle and didn’t taste like red velvet at all. Not bad though.
One of my all time time favourite places to go when I visit Hawaii. However this time round I found that the service was very poor. We had to chase down our server as we were ‘forgotten’.The food was also a bit disappointing I felt that the pancakes were not as thick and light. They were quite thin and rubbery.I will give this place another chance as I have been here on many occasions and the service and food have been great and this must have been a bad day.
We’re here twice to eat during a 4-day stay in Hawaii. Restaurant was conveniently located across from the Marriott in which we were staying. The place was clean the wait staff was really nice however service was extremely slow with relatively few customers in the place. Went to Moa Pancake house and got more food, faster service and the food was hot when we got it. Ihop’s only advantage is its open 24hrs.
The food here is very mediocre. I had the french toast which was a mix between sweet and savoury but was also bland at the same time if that’s possible. There were 6 pieces of toast but I only managed to finish 2 slices. I also had the hot chocolate which was nice. A friend I was dining with had…
Not only do IHOP do great pancakes, but they also do burgers, sandwiches, appetisers and bottomless coffee, yay! This branch is open 24hrs so no matter what you feel like at any time of the day, IHOP Honolulu have got you covered! Ashley was our server and she was outstanding – super friendly and efficient!!
Expensive for small portions.. I wanted to try IHOP as it is an iconic American breakfast place. The prices were pretty high for mediocre breakfast food. The service was not quite average. The food came quickly, it tasted fine, but the portions were pretty small for what you’re paying for…they don’t look as impressive as the pictures, that’s for sure! It was good, but nothing special considering the price. Skip it, if you aren’t overly keen.
