I love Loco Moco, but Lani’s Prime Rib Loco brings the dish to a new level. Normally rice, egg, hamburger and gravy is enough to satisfy me, but to switch out the meat to a tender, juicy slab of prime rib is genius. As a food truck, it was a bit of a wait, but acceptable considering prime rib should be cooked properly. And it was cooked perfectly, more of a medium-done steak, sliced into strips to make sure it could be easily portioned among the rice and egg.It’s a bit pricier for a simple food truck meal, but I thought it was well worth it. For under $15 I was stuffed with a really decent prime rib. It’s a LARGE dish. So in that respect it was a great deal.
