OK a local recommended it and I did click I liked it BUT I wouldn’t go back. Firstly great location, if u can’t get a sunset booking don’t bother, around 6.30 in August. The decor is very dated circa 70/80’s not such a bad thing except it looks worn. The service was robotically good and professional. The wine list is excellent if not slightly biased to the US. Prices for wine was OK however cocktails and bubbly was double what it should be. The menu well again a safe time warp back to the 80s. The food was very good, more so present well and cooked very well – though very last decade, don’t expect to find adventure or signature creations here. Somebody did say to me once you should rate a French restaurant by its sauces and creme brulee. Well if the creme brle was the measure alone we would have walked out then, it tasted old, lumpy and doughy, no creme. And what did every desert have to come with berries. At over $150 per person I just can’t see the value here it was a struggle to tip. Reinvention required. 6.5/10 By the way $7 bottles of mineral water should be served at room temperature with no lime or lemon. Not every glass of water needs to have a ton of ice in it. We were to scared to order and espresso cafe at $7, most expensive coffee in the US.

Wonderful experience. Amazing view, ask for table by water. Waitstaff excellent and food to die for. Seafood ‘tower’ app, spinach salad table side, and chateaubriand. So full but meal to remember and return for on every trip.

Amazing!!!. Dinner reservations at sunset is a must! This was a very romantic dinner. Escargot and the lobster bisque are highly recommended! Michel’s was a wonderful place to spend my anniversary.

Best dinner in OAHU. I have been here many times. It is definitely upscale. Bring your wallet because you’re going to need it. That being said, the place is outstanding. When they say it’s got a beautiful view it is literally 10 feet from the water. The food is classic French. The showmanship of the waiters is outstanding. The food melts in your mouth. I love this place. It is very romantic for those special occasions. Pay attention to when they prepare crapes with oranges, the fire show is marvelous as they do it.

Great Restaurant. You can not beat the view, the food and the service. We used to dine at Michel’s about twice a month in the 80’s. Recently i came back for the third time in the last 6 month and i still love it very very much! The food was execellent, the service outstanding and the view fantastic. What else can i say, i will always come back to this great restaurant and highly recommend it to my friends!
