We opted for the Honolulu Set Menu as you can’t get it at any other Nobu in the world and we were so pleased with our dishes. Unfortunately I don’t know the exact names of each course but the stand outs were wagyu, sea bass, sushi platter and the yuzu creme brulee. The wagyu was a little charred/seared on the outside which gave it a nice subtle crisp and it was cooked medium rare. I would prefer my wagyu to be a bit more rare but overall it was perfectly marbled and the flavour was just right. The roasted veggies took it that extra mile and made it amazing! The beautiful sea bass had a lovely light but crispy batter on the outside and was swimming in a delicious consomm. The hints of onion really brought it altogether. The sushi platter looked very simple but the quality of the seafood is top notch! The roe and the rice are a match made in heaven and that shrimp – WOW! I don’t know how they’ve made a delicate piece of shrimp so silky soft and almost buttery in the mouth! And the yuzu creme brle will just take your tastebuds on a wonderful journey. The yuzu has a great tang to it but of course the caramelised top gave it a perfect sweet note and texture. The beautiful sorbet cuts through the sweet to prepare your palette for the wonderful creamy cubes of coconut jelly and the thin crispy biscuit adds an extra crunch. The blueberries and banana make a great medley on top and I polished this dish so quickly. It wasn’t sickeningly sweet and hit all the right taste buds, loved it!!!
Nobu has been talked about as the place to go, it’s really good but I guess in NZ we are spoilt for choice with Japanese/Asian infusion so it wasn’t mind blowing as I thought it was going to be. The $100 Chiefs degustation is good (ask for the black cod) you get a bit of everything (wasn’t a fan of the cold noodle as one of the dishes) the Nobu Sidecart cocktail is amazing, service is great great venue.
Perfect experience! The waiters take very good care of you. Their recommendations were excellent and delicious! It is slightly on the higher side price wise but it is definitely s good place to splurge. This is coming from someone who doesn’t eat or prefer seafood much. miliscorner.com

Ate here for the first time after Nobu Lanai. The food at Nobu is amazingly good, the taste of the sauces, dressings, spices has so many layers to it. The tempura rock shrimp was so good we ordered it twice. Not cheap to eat here, but so worth it for a special occasion.
Hard to pick a favourite dish as everything we had was incredible! Topped off by excellent service and it is definitely somewhere I’d go again!!
Amazing service and the food was sensational! We have been to Nobu Melbourne and were equally as impressed. Good portions and incredibly thoughtful presentation of each dish.
