This place has ‘old school’ charm. We made reservations and were seated at a table overlooking the beach. After cocktails, we split a house salad and ordered Ginger Steamed Monchong (a firm white fish) and Prime Rib grilled with garlic and herbs. The salad was perfect for two, and the portions were split before they were served (no up charge for shared dishes). Our entrees were nicely presented and prepared perfectly. At sunset, our gracious server asked if we would like a photo. Little things make for a memorable evening!
The place is nice but a little hot. Food I had was yummy especially the escargot pastry puff. The waiter we had was really nice since we were there to celebrate my friends bday and he came our with free dessert and took a photo of us and put it in a card as a souvenir. All in all its a place to check out. Just don’t get the grilled Mahi Mahi cus it was pretty bland.
The filet mignon with lobster tail was superb! Everything cooked to perfection and the garlic mashed potatoes had the creamiest texture. The staff were so helpful and attentive without being intrusive in any way. It’s right on the beach and makes a perfect spot for a nice night out with a partner.
