First time trying out PF Chang, first disappointment was online menu offered fried snapper. They dont serve snappers the waitress informed us. Ordered their signature margarita(supposed to be frozen) came out on rocks! I didnt drink it at first I thought it was another water cup. Then second bite found hair in my food list my appetite. When they brought out my mahi mahi, the plate felt like they popped it in the microwave. Fish was rubbery in texture

Really good food, reasonable prices (from their specials menu) and quick service. We ordered the chicken in lettuce cups and the sweet and sour pork. Both were really generous portions. The poke salad was also really nice and fresh tasting.

Came here from a recommendation from friends. We got a table pretty much straight away. We were sorted upstairs on the balcony overseeing the road. We ordered salt and pepper calamari as appetiser. Then for main we ordered the chicken and cashews and also the oolong marinated sea bass and steamed rice to accompany. We also had a couple of cocktails. The food was good. The fish was cooked perfectly. You cant really taste the oolong tea though. The chicken with cashew was ok, nothing special. It was a filling dinner as the portion was huge. Overall makes an ok dinner, but might try a different restaurant next.

We ordered off the special Chinese New Year menu when we went and ordered the whole card of dishes and it was delicious! So full of flavour and shared 4 plates between the two of us. Well worth the price – on of our Waikiki Highlights.

P.F. Changs was alright. Had to try it, given that most people that talk about it enjoyed it.I found the food to be well portioned, well seasoned but a tad bit greasy as expected. I had the Kung Pao chicken and my wife had the Buddha feast (gluten free menu version, but with gluten sauce because my wife was looking for a veggie dish without meat or tofu). The Kung Pao had some good flavouring but would’ve liked to have seen more vegetables incorporated, it’s really just a load of chicken and peanuts. The Buddha Feast, had a good amount of veggies, sauce was good and portion again was fair. The rice portions you get with the dishes are fair as well, rice is rice. Hard to mess that up.Overall the food was pretty good, but stick to what P.F. Says on the menu, if you got a large group just get a couple dishes to share. If one person ate one entree it gets kind of monotonous.

On the road to recovery post Vegas I was relaxing in Hawaii and who might I find but my old friend PF Changs. This time it was about the banana spring roll dessert. So much happy. The discovery of their Mongolian beef was wonderful I almost preferred it to the honey shrimp I had in Vegas. If was quite a sweet Mongolian which I love (I suppose you can tell that from my menu choices). While this is a chain restaurant it’s quite a modern one although decor wise its very traditional with terracotta warrior figures standing guard creating a sense of culture and atmosphere. As for the food the freshness and quality is there and the flavours are to die for. Take me back

Very popular place, go early. The food is very fresh, fast paced service almost rushed. Sort of modern take on Chinese food or Chinese/American we had the Chang’s lettuce wraps which was a Hawaiian take on San Chow Bow (Generous serving) very nice. Then for mains we had the Crispy beans and an awesome spicy dipping sauce that was almost too hot but so nice you had to go back, like a hot jalapenino sauce, these were great. There was quite a break between the beans and the next order, the signature Kung pow chicken, Christy honey shrimp and the fried rice with everything. Super meal, awesome service our waiter was sensational.Great place to visit.
