  A pretty decent restaurant; my family had breakfast and found it to be a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was fresh and well prepared.

  Our (local) family had Christmas eve dinner at the Terrace. It was buffet, and the fare was of good selection, taste and presentation. The price was $49.50/per, which was reasonable. The included gratuity -17% – was excessive given the service received. We were seated and left to our own devices for 10 minutes. We subsequently ordered cocktails and other beverages, which arrived 15 minutes hence. Coffee,tea post-meal required flagging down a waiter….likewise for refills. There was no heavy duty lifting and serving by the wait staff….BUFFET, I estimate that the total waiter effort amounted to well less than one man-hour at our table. For this we were charged $69. Good food but otherwise a blah experience.

  Great Family eating. My family really enjoyed the Pikake Terrace buffet during a recent trip to Hawaii. There was live Hawaiian entertainment with hula dancers. The food was very good, and the selections accounted for all tastes. There were too many, in fact, for my family to handle in one evening so we made a return trip. Each night features different specialty items, like lobster tails or BBQ ribs. The outdoor seating makes for a very pleasant evening.
