Great place to eat if you’re not in a rush and just trying to enjoy the feel of Hawaii. It’s still a little new so I didn’t expect them to be the greatest. Our server was alright he did seem flustered running to and from da restaurant l the terrace. It felt kinda ghetto fabulous the way the seating was, plus da decent chairs and tables didn’t really live up to a restauarant dining feel. I would come back again of course! And dine inside or by da actual view of the beach…. They still need to find their restaurants ups an downs.. But in the long run should be great. My gf got the pookela seafood tower and that was awesome. I got me the shor special and regret not getting steak… 50$ for my meal kinda felt like murder being okay. But 65$ for the tower was well worth the money. I will be sure to try other things next time I go…
Catch of the Day Happy Hour. I work at Hyatt Waikiki, and Shor has an incredible Happy Hour every day from 3 to 6 pm. The best way to experience the Truffle Mac n’ Cheese is for $4 or a Malibu Mai Tai for $6. Everything on the Happy Hour menu is $3 to $6! Between the view and the food, this is definitely HAPPY HOUR.
The food and atmosphere were both excellent. However, the prices are higher and I would classify Shor as a 3 $$$ restaurant. I would go back but with different expectations of price.
