Highly recommended. Visited Surf Lanai for breakfast having heard stories of their french toast from decades ago from my father. It remains fantastic stuffed with macadamia and carmelized bananas. The pork kulua Benedict was good, but the french toast was by far worth every penny. If on a budget skip the coffee, at $5 a cup it was hardly 100% kona. Service was also excellent.
Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic view. Call ahead to get a cabana! I only had breakfast there, but with each item, the execution was precise and done with care. The waiter was very polite and hospitable, doing things just as I was going to ask. The service is top notch, just as you’d expect from a top notch hotel. There is a reason why royal hawaiian is an awesome establishment, and it really shows.
Very mediocre food at very high prices. Lobster roll sucked!
