Milk Chocolate Coconut Creme Brulle. Delicious.26 Oct, 2014Pesto Pasta. A good basic olive oil pasta. The macadamia nuts crumbs add a twist
Mediocre food and service. All the pasta is drowning in cheese. My pesto chicken was dry and the fettuccine side was over cooked. I would not recommend.
Good Ahi. We tried most of the menu between the seven of us. It was all good. The Ahi was fantastic. Good service too.
Pleased with Pasta. My husband and I chose Kauai Pasta for our 10th anniversary dinner. The baked mozzarella was delicious. My Greek pasta was tasty and he enjoyed the fettuccine alfredo. The only hiccup was that he ordered it with shrimp and it was delivered with chicken. Overall a nice dining experience.
When we arrived we were promptly seated in the back room and our server, Travis, was at our table shortly. The wine selection seemed to be pretty good and we began with salads. I had a house salad and my wife had the baby spinach salad, both were delicious. I just had water to drink for my meal and I noticed that the staff was really on top of keeping my glass full (and I was quite parched from a long day of hiking) so kudos on the excellent service. For the main course my wife had the butternut squash ravioli. I managed to trade her a ravioli for a piece of garlic bread (also delicious) and she and I agreed that it was to die for, almost tasted like a desert. She ordered the appetizer portion to go along with her large salad and thought it was a perfect portion, anything larger would have been too rich. I, on the other hand, had the chicken Parmesan with a side of linguine and meat sauce. The meat sauce was very good and had somewhat of a smoky flavor that I couldn’t quite place. The chicken breast was very large but was over-cooked. It wasn’t bad, but not anything I’d order again. We didn’t have desert and had great service up until it was time to pay the check. It took quite a while for Travis to cash us out. Overall we received very good service throughout. We’d return again, and I’d definitely have the butternut ravioli and whatever maximizes the serving of garlic bread 🙂
Mediocre but not as terrible as others claim. The lowlight for me was when the server asked if I wanted change when I paid the bill — that is something the customer needs to suggest.
Highly UNrecommended. Guy from rental place recommended this place to us probably just cause he thought all Americans like bad pasta? We also experienced a long wait to be seated even though it wasn’t busy and there were many tables open, the hostess was just talking on the phone. Interesting to see that others experienced this same exact thing! Almost went somewhere else and I wish we would have.I had the eggplant rollatini and asked for brown rice pasta. I got their regular spaghetti, not the brown rice pasta. I tried it and the spaghetti tasted just like store bought spaghetti. The dish was bland and not much to it.I could definitely make this dish at home much better myself.I asked the waiter about my pasta and he brought out another dish with brown rice pasta instead. He was very nice and apologized and handled it well but my second dish, the eggplant wasn’t warmed all the way! I didn’t even bother to tell the waiter anymore. I didn’t eat very much of it, and still have the left overs in the fridge a week later and probably will throw it away before we leave. The waiter was very nice and gracious, but that was the only good thing about the place. Even an Olive Garden would be so much better than this place. I can’t believe they are charging SO much for what tastes like grocery store pasta.
