Great authentic tacos. I had a chicken taco and a fish taco with pico. Both were excellent! The tacos were very filling. Two tacos were almost too much but they were so good I had to finish both. This was my first fish taco and I loved it. It was made with a mild white fish. So tasty!
Outrageous tacos and salad bowls! Fresh, local and amazingly tasty. I would eat at Tiki Tacos every day.

Excellent!. The tacos were absolutely delicious!! We tried fish, shrimp and pork tacos. It was a bit busy when we arrived on a Tuesday night at about 7 pm. We placed the order and had to wait for about 20-25 minutes, but it was totally worth it! I personally loved the fish and the the shrimp tacos! My husband enjoyed kalua pork taco! If you are staying in Kapaa, I would strongly recommend it! We didn’t think that 2 tacos would be enough for 2 of us, that’s why we got 3. However, one would have been enough per person! The price is very good!
Gluten Free tacos. These were wonderful tacos. One is enough but you will want to have more. very fresh food full of flavor. the chicken and gest fish tacos were the best! thanks for a great meal for out of towners!
Best (Healthy) Mexican Food in the Islands. This nonpretentious treasure is in a strip mall (Waipouli Complex) just north of Safeway. All foods are locally sourced. And there really is a Senora Tiki whose fresh, healthy, gluten-free food recipes are consistently superb.The housemade yellow-corn (soft) tacos are delicious. And there is a certied organic/GMO-free taco tortilla option in blue corn for a mere $1 upcharge. Ditto with the fresh guacamole, which goes great with any taco. And there’s a checlist of other additions. The homemade green and red salsas are pureed and an optional gift for those who enjoy picante. Although there’s no liquor in the well-stocked beverage cooler, you can BYO if you like beer with your Mexican food.Be aware that the range of great fare is mostly large, delicious, filling tacos and quesadillas served in baskets or foil-covered trays to-go. And forget about nachos, rice and beans, burritos, fajitas, etc. The good news is that you’ll never miss them. There are sometimes Saturday specials –usually tasty tamales– that are fresh and prepared from scratch in authentic style. Please save some organic, grass-fed, locally-raised lamb for my next order….The atmosphere is minimalist? Yet, so what? (You can always hold your rehearsal dinner elsewhere.) Tiki Tacos is clean and functional with great staff and a layout that flows (except when it’s truly packed with eager customers). It would be wonderful if the place could expand into adjacent storefront space.It’s everything I can do to make it through Sundays–the day they’re closed. Otherwise, I might well be there 7 days a weak.Tiki Tacos is a local Kapaa gem operated by long-time Island folks expessing their familial hertage in a way that benefits all of us!
