On the east side of Island Kauai, near the town of Kapa’a is a casual Mexican restaurant in a small shopping center.Family-owned, the prices are reasonable for excellent tacos made with corn and organic blue corn tortillas. Order at the counter and you will get a number to place on your table. Be prepared to wait a while for your tacos made from scratch. They are the freshest tasting tacos in town.Be sure to get the grilled Ono taco and a pork taco. There are some veggie options too. It’s one of the most authentic Mexican decorated restaurants on the island. The cuisine is a beautiful fusion of Mexican and Hawaiian flavors.They also make a very good quesadilla. dineandtravel.wordpress.com
