Fast service, good Mabo tofu!. Service was super fast. Got seated at 11:05am and got served my mabo tofu at around 11:15am! Dish came out steaming hot and the mabo tasted great. No complaints here!
Ramen is deelish, great home made broth. Had the soft rib ramen and it was just as advertised. The soft rib meat was soooo soft and juicy, melt in your mouth goodness. The broth is their own recipe, as most ramen restaurants do, or good ones anyway. Light, aromatic, and tasty. The broth is not too heavy or thick to weigh you down or make you feel uncomfortable like some other places where its just too thick.I will definitely be back for more!
When Ton Ton Ramen first opened it was very good and reminded me of authentic ramen shops in Japan (I’m a ramen fanatic) but in recent months I’ve been very disappointed. More recently yesterday. I ordered the chicken katsu ramen w/the katsu on the side. The ramen was lukewarm with absolutely no flavor in the soup. I had to add shoyu which is a sin! The katsu was full of fat and inedible. My friend ordered the combo: shoyu ramen, chicken katsu curry w/gyoza. His ramen also had no flavor and his chicken katsu was also fatty. The gyoza wasn’t very good either. In the past several months I’ve been to Ton Ton a handful of times but have been disappointed every time. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese ramen go to Ezogiku instead.
Mediocre food and service. Dirty restaurant.
Gyoza is fabulous! My favorite is the miso pork ramen.
Onolicious!!. The Staff and the food at Ton Ton are great. One of the Best gyoza’s on the island. If you haven’t tried them, you gotta try em. They always bring a smile to my face. IMO one of the best items to order is the Katsu Curry Combo. You get a small bowl ramen which the dashi is killa, The noodles are great, A portion of Chicken katsu w/curry and rice. yeah and to top it off 4 pieces of the best gyoza around waipahu. C’mon what you waiting fo? Chance em!!
Very good food at a good price. It’s hard to find good food at the Waipahu Town Center, and since I do ministry at New Hope Leeward it’s become a regular place for me to go for something other than McD’s, Taco Bell, or Subway. Their food is good. Nothing spectacular, but it’s up there in the Sanoya’s range. They have some very good meal options for under $10, which include a bowl or Ramen, a main dish, and I believe 4-5 Gyoza. Very good value and good grindz!I don’t think you can go wrong at Ton Ton Ramen.
