This used to be our absolute most favorite restaurant. After years of being patrons, we are writing off Phuket Thai. First the service went downhill, then the food. It’s been a gradual decline but it’s now so bad that it’s not worth it. The last time we are lunch the Panang pla was thin and runny and had almost no peanut taste. The take out has been hit or miss, mostly miss. The pad Thai used to be their other signature dish. Our most recent dish was basically taking noodles and a brick of curry and adding a little water before giving up on prep. Couldn’t even finish it. Dining in used to be elegant and quaint. Now there are fans in the corner and carpet is gross and dingy. We would still eat at their other locations but this one is now dead to us.
