I grew up in Idaho Falls and frequently visit family there. This is my go to restaurant whenever I visit. Only Idaho falls restaurant with consistently great food AND good variety.
Worst dining experience ever! Our steaks were served without steak knives. It took over 10 minutes to get a knife and the food was cold by then. To add insult to injury this bad experience was topped off by the chef coming out to our table with a bad attitude and being rude. We will never dine there again.
New ownership and manager NOW TERRIBLE. Portions half tge size but price increase. Wine poured short. Manager is a jerk. This used to b a nice place. Now empty. I predict it will eventually close. I wd not return just because of the male manager who walks around giving dark stares, stands squarely in doorways like a drill sargeant as he taps on his cell phone like he is taking notes on everyone. Who needs the stress in fine dining? We want smiles and someone asking if we like our food. I know why he doesn’t ask. I feed my 6 week old puppy bigger portions. We ate for $60 then went for fast food on the way home so we wouldn’t have hunger pains at night
Not impressed. Walked in for our anniversary and after waiting for someone to help us for about 5 minutes we were told they stopped seating 5 minutes ago

Everyone Needs to Chill Out …. And this is the place to do so. I walked in to the feel of home, with perfect temperature and lighting all throughout. The bar was classy with wonderful service. The deck is absolutely one of a kind, with wine barrel staves placed on the ceiling and local artwork on the walls to give it a one of a kind atmosphere. The food was very very good. Ordered the bang bang shrimp appetizer which was wonderful, citrus crusted salmon that was also very satisfying. There happened to be live music that just topped off the wonderful evening perfectly. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves along with the staff. Not the last time I go to The Cellar.
Everything was first class. The drinks were creative and delicious….appetizers were scrumptious and unique. Entrees delectable, loved the creamed spinach……very accomidating for the glutin intolerant. Service was impecable. Very enjoyable ding experience from beginning to end.
