Retired. Holding my steak with a the fork provided, it bent very easy making it very hard to cut my steak.I would like to suggest you to get much stronger forks. These forks you have now really distract from the quality of my meal. I enjoy going to the black bear and I hope you consider this request Tom Matz
We have a group we go to breakfast with every Sunday. This last Sunday 6/8/14 we chose the Black Bear in Boise. There were seven of us. We were seated right away. Margo was our server. I remember Margo’s name because she remembered all of ours. Drinks came out in a timely manner and our order taken. Food came out as expected. It was well prepared and obvious the cook took pride in his/her work. Everyone said they had a tasty meal and the service was great. Thanks Margo for making this a really nice experience. You do yourself proud.
Husband & I went here for dinner a couple of weeks ago & we were very impressed. We ordered two of their 32oz T-Bone Steak Dinners, The steak was done perfectly & very tender. It’s nice to go to a restaurant where you still get soup or salad with your dinner instead of having to pay extra. The atmosphere here is ver relaxed. We enjoyed it immensely & are going back again tonight. I think we will be frequenting this place quite often. If you haven’t been yet, do ourself a favor & go check them out.
Waitress didn’t know specials, food was way greasy had to wait for entire order to get there. Not great

Pretty good not the best hashbrowns they seem like day old. Service was fine.
