Stopped in here for early lunch. The gentleman that owns this place was so so nice. Attached is a great grocery store, sausages, cheese, snacks, bread, and loads of German and European chocolate. I ordered the gyro, it comes on panini bread instead of pita which I actually preferred and they’re huge. Delicious!

The bread for our two sandwiches (a gyro and a Reuben) was amazing. The bread for the gyro was almost a pastry in its tenderness–full of flavor. The Reuben had a delicious, fine cheese mixed with the sauerkraut, and the pastrami was smoked and plentiful. The gyro wasn’t what you’d get in a typical gyro joint; it was richer, more sandwich-like, less wet. A delight. The owner/server was helpful and welcoming, and the baker/cook/owner was delightful and keenly interested in what we thought of the food. There was quite a variety of wines someone could explore–almost all Eastern European.

Very Simple restaraunt behind the store. The gentleman that served was extremely cordial. Bread is bake fresh and has a great feel and taste. The Bosnian music and folks speaking in Slovak around the resteraunt gave it an interesting and pleasant feel.If you are interested in trying a Gyro made in a different style, this is a place to try

Our experience was wonderful. My husband and I both got their gyro sandwich. They were delicious… And HUGE! I recommend splitting one and sharing a Nutella panini. The perfect lunch for two!

BO-EX is Super Excellent. Loved the place. Felt like home. Great baguette sandwich, Bosnian Wine, Great grocery items. I got the goulash too to take home and this isn’t your mid west mom’s goulash. Spicy and complex. Not for the weak of spice fortitude. Really outstanding. Nice people, great prices. Same things in Co Op are 3x as expensive and there is a great selection here. New favorite place!

Good and inexpensive. Gyro was a bit non-traditional and was served on some sort of bun. It was really good, just not what I was expecting. Service was awkward but the people were nice. Really neat little European grocery store attached with a good wine and beer selection from that region. Baguette sandwich was really good… Gyro literally left 2 tablespoons of grease behind (and all over my hands. Will definitely go again but probably won’t order the gyro any time soon.

Nice folks here at BOEX. Food is good and cheap. Best gyro on the bench.
