Delicious. So my family lives in Boise and I came from Australia to visit. After watching Man VS Food, I wanted to come here.Safe to say I was not diasppointed. The pizza was amazing and their starters were amazing.Best pizza I’ve ever had in the States.Will come back to visit soon!
Salad bar. Yes I am writing about the salad bar. Their house dressing is amazing. I could drink it. The pizza is pretty great too!
I LOVE FLYING PIE!. This is seriously the best pizza place in Boise, BUT, it’s not cheap, that’s their only downfall. If you don’t mind spending extra money to get great local food, then this is your pizza place. Atmosphere is fun and the weekly name contest is totally awesome; I’ve done it twice and had a blast. Please, don’t ever go away Flying Pie, I love you!
Awesome atmosphere decent pizza. Not the best in Boise, but decent.The atmosphere is great and the staff are really cool. Try it with olive oil, anchovies and mozzarella, and it’s great. The beer and wine selection is awesome.
Overrated. We have eaten here twice now, and the second time my wife had to order white sauce as the red is so spicy. If this is the way you like it, fine, but better pizza is found elsewhere. Service OK, run by a bunch of long haired types and while friendly and OK service, and a funky place for the young set, try elsewhere for better pizza.
Over rated. Flying Pie is over rated, over priced, over hyped, dumpy pizza place. The pizza is not that good, the dough lacks any real flavor, the sauce taste is nothing special, the prices are way to high for the service and atmosphere. Their living off an old reputation when they were the only game in town.
Best pizza in Boise (so far). My husband and I gave this place a go after reading online reviews – very glad we did. Tasty pizza (a tad expensive, especially for toppings), but overall fun atmosphere and pretty friendly employees. Flying Pie will definitely be in our regular rotation from now on!
