Rock in my food. Just a serious warning to anyone who eats at Los Betos… Tonight there was a ROCK in my food! Then the service I got when I called to find out WHY there was a ROCK in my food was horrible. Just an FYI do NOT eat there!
While the Fairview location has pretty good food (though, that State St one is better), it’s the lack of customer service here that makes me not like this location anymore. Multiple times, including this morning, I’ve gone to the drive thru, sat longer than should be normal for someone to come on the speaker, and then was told to come back in about 10 minutes or more (rudely, I might add, which tends to be typical here lately). This is ridiculous for a place that advertises as 24 hours to tell people to come back at 6 am on a Tuesday. Either advertise for the times of day you intend to actually serve people, or be ready at any time during the morning if you’re going to be 24 hours. 6 am isn’t that early to want breakfast, especially when headed to work or an early morning class.

Burritos are smaller, cold half the time & sloppy made, they near always charge you extra for something without telling you and no matter who you get as a drive up cashier they are always RUDE (as if they hate their job and you). PLUS, now they charge you .40 cents if you order a side jalapeno pepper (no matter how many burritos you order).
Worst food ever. Had the ground beef burrito. It was so bad i couldnt even eat it. The chips and salsa were awful too. Stay away. Taco bell is better than this garbage.
Downhill Horrible Service Bad Food. The food is not nearly the quality found at other locations. Rude staff. Arrogant. The earlier review detailing the inflexibility of the staff echoes my experiences. These people would rather argue than prepare the food correctly per the customers request. Very lazy folk. Contrast this with the outstanding service and food received at both the state street and Meridian locations and it baffles one how this bad this original los betos really is. Additionally, cleanliness is worrisome. City health department ought to pay this place a visit. Visit State street location. Cleaner, fresher food and friendlier staff.
Create your own favorite Hispanic food (within limits). For those Hispanic food lovers, order the way you like it and the waitstaff/ cooks will gladly fix it . . . at a very reasonable price. Usually a free soda pop is included. You simply cannot go wrong at the original Los Beto’s on Fairview Avenue in Boise, Idaho (USA). A word of caution, though: Be careful as to exactly what you order since you will invariably receive it that way. As with any restaurant, be mindful of the time you choose to visit.
Good Portions. Every time I have eaten from this place,it has be in consistant in taste. Food has alwys been ok and meal size is value for money.As far as eating in,the place needs some improvement as far as appearence for cleanlyness and decore.Not an very appetizing place to enjoy a meal.More in the dive area.I have been in other LosBetos and they are new and very clean,but food is not as good as one on fairview.Hope they can inprove site appearence.
