Panda Garden Chinese and Sushi Restaurant – Meridian – New Location. My first thought was Chinese and Sushi? The Sushi will just be, OK. I was wrong the Sushi is excellent. Chinese Food is excellent, (Fresh vegetables, clean and not oily). My wife and I go on most Fridays. We have the Sashimi Deluxe with Miso Soup and Sushi Rice. We also have our favorite rolls. Then we order Chinese Food for the weekend. Last night we ordered Neptune Blessing and Lo Mein Shrimp. We had this for Saturday Lunch, both dishes were awesome. Went well with the Giants game.

Not pleased…. I was very excited to see that the Panda Garden delivered, considering I was at work and could not leave but needed to get my sushi fix. I ordered a spider roll, tuna sashimi and the seafood teriyaki, with the intention of leftovers…The spider roll was good, but it was warm, where it should have been cold, the tuna was also warm and the cut on the fish did not seem quite right, considering I couldn’t even bite through it…I am very used to sushi, and this little batch kind of scared me to the point I did not eat but one bite of the sashimi and am hoping it does not come back around. The seafood teriyaki is not what I expected at all, it was advertised containing shrimp, scallops and crab; the larger shrimp in the batch are good, as well are the scallops, but there were these tiny shrimps that looked like they had been through a war (not pretty). The crab was imitation, which I don’t prefer, and I had wished they had stated this on the menu, considering the difference in taste. Also, my seafood teriyaki was cold…they need to work on temperature control with deliveries for sure. $30 later and a great deal of disappointment I will likely not be a return customer to the Panda Garden.

Not much to look at. The atmosphere isn’t that promising but the food and the prices are awesome!!!!!!!After trying place this for the first time the other week my girlfriend and I have been back three times. Love it!
