Fair but not excellent. Went with a group of six for an early holiday dinner. Great to see the place was packed, we were seated near the front door, which brought the occasional draft but there was a heater strategically placed to reduce the blast. That was good. Menu is fairly creative and the presentation was pretty nice but the Cioppino just didn’t say Wow. The beef tenderloin was not impressive, ordered MR, came out Medium +, sauces were fair but again, not amazing. Service was very good, very attentive, pricing not bad, atmosphere was good. If the food was a bit better, it would have been a memorable evening. Chef Knickrehm is no longer at Bella.

Italiano. A group of friends tried this place on a recommendation. They didn’t disappoint. The wine with dinner paired well. I try not eat a lot of pasta, but made an exception. I’m glad they didn’t let me down. Nice place to enjoy dinner with friends.

Fancy place. In general the food is good and the atmosphere nice for the kind of place one feels they should dress up a bit. Not overly expensive, but with starters and drinks can get $$$.

Awful! Pasta was pre-cooked and so the noodles were stuck together in clumps. Suppli was bland and virtually flavorless. A steak ordered medium rare was cooked only on one side. The extruded potatoes served with the steak were bland and dry. We went for a nice long romantic dinner, but were in and out in under an hour. Way too rushed!

Best Italian in Boise. You can’t beat the patio. Fresh made pasta. The chef is willing to make adjustments. Very friendly.

    Delicious! Everything was amazing!

Lighting at night is so terrible they bring a small light so you can read the menu. Our service was good, the portions enormous, but not really that tasty. That made it easy to leave at least half of my dinner.
