Great selection of German draft beers that rotate constantly. You can also order these amazing beers in a 2 liter boot. What more could you ask for? Maybe a Jager Schnitzel. Huge portions and authentic German food is delicious.
Delicious delicious delicious!! Love their food – tried several different dishes. It all tastes so fresh and comforting. The only complaint I have are the tables. The seating is very uncomfortable. It’s large picnic tables that are not conducive for sitting for long periods of time. But the food is worth it.
Our Favorite Restaurant. The Schnitzel Garten is my fiance and I’s favorite restaurant! I spent a semester in Germany and dining at the Schnitzel Garten always brings me back! The food is very authentic and delicious. My favorite item is the Jaeger Schnitzel, my fiance loves the Curry Wurst. I would highly recommend dining here!
No lunch?. Have heard it was good, but it looks like they are not open for lunch… boo!
First time experience. When we opened the doors we were overwhelmed by the live accordion music; too loud for the room. Immediately asked for a patio table. Greeted warmly, but didn’t have menus for my wife and I. Not a big deal, but a surprise; we shared. We were served exclusively by a German server. Service was very, very slow. Soft drinks were premium priced, $3.50. Pepsi was flat and lemon slices were paper thin. Lemonade was dilute, but was cold and wet. We had plenty of time to look around. Surprised to see weeds in patio, last year’s hanging plants were dead, debris around the tables. e.g., dead leaves, feathers, and detritus. Not a show stopper, but not what we experienced in Germany where everything was neat, clean, and tidy. After a long wait the food serving and sides were welcome and good. Spaetzle was generous, but soggy. We were very surprised that robust German breads were not evident or offered. Overall, a disappointing experience.
Fantastic. I went there on Friday night with my family. We really did not know what we should order, but our German waitress recommended the perfect dishes. We loved it! She also knew everything about the beer and wine. She was very friendly and we had so many laughs with her. It is the real deal. There is no other place like this in Idaho. We left very happy. The food was awesome and our service perfect. You can feel the German atmosphere and culture in that restaurant.I was reading a couple bad reviews about that restaurant before I posted mine. If some people do not understand other cultures maybe they should got to an American chain restaurant. That place is an over all experience, with homemade food and everything is very authentic, also the staff and when you walk in, it feels like Germany. That’s what they want you to experience. I have to say good job. I will definitely go back!
I really want to love this place, but with rude, unprofessional service, it’s just not possible. Please hire some staff who understand customer service and we will come back!
