Thumbs down….won’t go back again….. Have been there three times since they opened. I find the overly friendly and endlessly talkative (smoozy) wait staff irritating. Service is slow and meals are often incomplete, requiring several more trips to the kitchen. All that for mediocre, lukewarm food….Pitmaster’s is so much better.

Good BBQ Sauce choices. I tried Famous Daves and really liked the pineapple habanero BBQ sauce, sweet and spicy to a good taste heat spike. Thought all but their mustard BBQ sauces were good stuff. Unfortunately the sliced Texas Brisket was not up to that same high compliment. The brisket that I got was way too fatty, and kind of tough. I left about a third of it on the plate, and was pretty much unimpressed. The corn muffins were exceptional. By chance – I made a 2d visit, but avoided the brisket – and tried the BBQ chicken. That was a good item, but the fresh corn with it was not too fresh. From the side items – the best one was the French fries — as to be expected in Idaho.

I’ve been here several times, and this service is always lackluster The food is standard barbecue, nothing to write home about, but nearly as good as one could expect for Southeast Idaho. Of the three times that I’ve been here. the order has been screwed up twice. The first time half of the orders in a party of six people were misplaced. They finally figured it out and got the order headed our way about 40 minutes late. For our troubles we received a $10 gift certificate that, when we returned two months later, had already expired. On this trip, the order was screwed up again because some of the food items had run out of stock. The waiter was apparently unaware of this, and didn’t come back to notify our party until he was delivering the food that was in stock. The original order was changed, and the meals arrived 25 minutes later. The only compensation that was offered was a free dessert. Had they offered to give us the original $10 gift certificate from the previous debacle and perhaps comp a meal, we probably would have walked out fairly satisfied. The food was adequate, even though the new meals were overly salted. I doubt we’ll be back…

Rib Lover. Poor service by Linda M., she needs to learn good service takes more than a smile. Food was delivered to table in 3 minutes. food was room temp. Beer was almost room temp, beer must have just been put in the cooler. Brocolli and corn would not melt butter. muffin was not warm. Garlic mashed potatoes was aweful. all food probably would have been better if it was hot. Ribs were too salty. These people don’t know how to run a resturant. Management better figure it out quickly because this town will drop you in a heartbeat. Outback’s ribs and Service are much better. I will not make this mistake again. Food was not enjoyable.

When you are 1200 miles from real Texas brisket, it will do. No smoke ring on the brisket which was way over over over cookedThe pork ribs, however, are consistently good.

This is the best BBQ in town. The ribs are perfect! Corn bread is amazing! Little pricy, but still worth it. A lot of food to chose from and it’s still the best! I recommend the ribs!
