Este es uno de los peores restaurantes en idaho falls, me enferme de salmonela y de infeccion intestinal. No se los recomiendo para nada, este y el carro de los garcias que esta por la lavanderia, es una pena que sean personas tan sucias y de mal servicio
Just moved to Idaho and was exploring the area. While exploring, we saw Garcia’s. We have always been huge fans of Mexican food so we figured, it’s late and we are new. Let’s try it. We got there and it was absolutely freezing in the restaurant(not a big deal). We then stood at the host desk while employee after employee walked by and not one employee greeted us. Almost 5 mins later, a host showed up and greeted us and left again. Then a few minutes later, he came back and sat us. Waitress was prompt to take our drink order, but then it was a while before they arrived. The chips came out and were cold and stale and the salsa and bean dip didn’t taste fresh at all. Ordered the quesadilla chimichanga with steak and the pollo fundido. Both meats were dry and hard to eat. Little to no flavor. Cheese on top was good. Rice was okay. Chimichanga crust was the right amount of crunch. I have never left leftovers but we chose to leave it because it was not good at all. Waitress was nice and I believe the manager who brought us our food was very nice. I gave it a 2.0 because the beer was cold and good and the manager and waitress were nice. The food was to me below Taco Bell level for the meat. I have lived in the south and frequently visited San Diego, so I know good Mexican food and this just wasn’t it. We will try other places, but unfortunately we will probably never return.

Best food in the state. Well lets face it, Idaho isn’t known for its latin cuisine. However Garcias is really good and has a nice atmosphere. I saw a couple reviews that said they were not generous with the tequila. so if you are going there to get drunk its probably not the best choice. But if you want hot fresh food and awesome chips and salsa. I highly recommend it. It isn’t cheap by no means so if your on a budget go to taco bell instead.

This is an okay restaurant. Nice atmosphere, okay food. But The prices aren’t worth it. Go to Jalisco’s across the street instead.
