Worst cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. It was doughy, undercooked and just not good. It just tasted like undercooked bread. I couldn’t even finish it. Yuck.
Mrs. Powell has left the building. Sadly, it looks like she took her wonderful recipes with her. The tiny, dry rolls, underwhelming lunch menu and price hikes are more than disappointing. We are boycotting this sad store until the new owners give Mrs. Powell’s name,and legacy for amazing food at the right price, a little respect.
Excellent Customer Service. I have been a long time customer of Ms. Powells. I have always loved the food. But know I have a new favorite thing about Ms. Powells. The wonderful customer service you receive. There is an employee by the name of Heidi aka Belle she is absouletly amazing. She is the reason our company orders from Ms. Powells. She is always professional, happy, attentive, caring. She has went out of her way to go above and beyond the expectations of her job.

Amazing food and outstanding service. I live in Southern California and my sister in law lives in Idaho falls. This year for her birthday; I wanted to send her a wonderful hot dinner so she would not have to cook on her birthday after a long day at work. Mrs. Powell’s made that possible. I viewed the menu on Facebook as I spoke with Alvin on the phone. He went above and beyond to help me send her and her family the most amazing Rib and Shrimp dinners with all the trimmings. My sister in law was so surprised. She called me and said the food was outstanding. And you were right Alvin she loved the cookies.Thank you Mrs. Powell’s and Alvin for helping me pull this off. You are wonderful!
Love It!. I really love the food at Mrs. Powell’s! I get their sandwiches a lot; the homemade bread is amazing. And I like a lot of the soups… rain + homemade chicken noodle soup bread bowl = happiness. They have a sit-down restaurant menu too, and I’m in love with the calzones and the HUGE shrimp, and their ribs always smell really good. They make omlets all day long (I think they’re priced better before 11 or so), and these really tasty potato things. And I think they’re the only place on the East end of Idaho Falls where you can get Reed’s Dairy ice cream – saves me 45 minutes when I want something sweet. They do flavored coffee and hot chocolate for a really good price (though you do have to get out of your car), and italian sodas and lime rickies and slush puppies too. Oh, I almost forgot the best part: AMAZING GIGANTIC HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS COVERED IN FROSTING!!! Super yummy!! I’ve never had a problem with their service, and I go there all the time. Plus, someone told me they’re thinking about putting in wireless internet, which means I can eat and study at the same time. I know they deliver, but I live close by so I always just go in or order something to pick up. I DEFINATELY recommend this restaurant, and now I’m going to have to go get me some food. Review writing makes me hungry!
