  Pretty good salad bar. Service seems competent. Probably not the place to go if you’re looking for a great steak or burger. But if you occasionally like going to a salad bar or are interested in their promotional specials (all you can eat shrimp and fries, etc.), this is a good place to go.

  Pretty good good and atmosphere for an American style buffet. The steak portion seemed a bit on the heavy side (more meat, no complaints), and their medium rare was pretty close. They over cooked it maybe 20 seconds. The salad bar was what was the most impressive though. Extremely fresh ingredients, and they even had Kiwi, which I didn’t expect this far north at ALL. The desert bar is small but efficient. For Those looking for a non-traditional American style buffet in Idaho Falls, this is my suggestion so far. Still ha e yet to try Chuck O Rama.

  Terrible Food. So every time we go out to eat we critique the food, earlier this year we went to Sizzler and the food was so bad we decided not to go again, well we got a giftcard for Sizzler from our landlord and we said oh crap but went for Vans bday dinner there. I ordered a steak, baked potato, and steamed broccoli with the salad bar. He ordered fish and chips and the salad bar. He said his fish was greasy and the fries soggy from the fish being set upon it, he got clam chowder and said it was watery with barely any potatoes or clams. My steak should have been medium well, but it ranged from well done to medium rare and lacked seasoning, my baked potato was not fully cooked and I had to dig at it just to get a bite, and the broccoli had no seasoning. The salad bar had several items empty or almost empty every time we went to it. I also recommend don’t waste your money on it, just order a side salad instead, most of the other items were watery, greasy, seasoning was terrible, and just plain nasty. Sadly this was the exact same experience we had last time we went too. :/ I think next time we get a giftcard for Sizzler I am going to give it to someone holding up a homeless sign.

  Always good food. We are frequent customers at the Sizzler. We enjoy the salad bar and have found it is generally fresher than at other salad bars. They make a great effort to keep it well stocked. There is a reasonable variety of steaks and fish which usually have been cooked to our liking. You don’t have to wait for your food, so it is our choice when we want a good meal without a long wait for the food.

  Mrs. Sizzler has been my husbands and I favorate steak house for ages – we are 63 and 67. If we are out of town, we look for another Sizzler to go to. A few years ago, we started date night with my husband’s brother and my favorate sister-in-law. I usually have the senior steak and salad, my husband usually has the steak and giant shrimp. A new addition to the menu is Fish and Chips, this now has become my husband’s favorite. I will from time to time have the salad bar—- our Sizzler always has the freshest-tastiest fruits, and a grand varity of salads. Thanks for being in our town.

  Sizzler Sizzles. My husband and I are busy schoolteachers. About three years ago, we started to end the work week by eating at Sizzler on Friday. My husband loves the variety of their classic trio, which gives the diner shrimp, steak, and chicken. He likes the broccoli side; I love the baked potato loaded with butter and sour cream. His brother and sister-in-law have joined us for our Friday night Sizzler date. They appreciate the special senior menu and the delicious fresh fruit on the salad bar. Recently, we have even added lunch dates; Sizzler makes a great burger or chicken sandwich for a reasonable price. The staff is friendly, and service is excellent.

  Excellent bang for your buck…. I have eaten at Sizzler since I was a kid(now 42) and have always been pleased with the selection and quality of the food. With the salad bar, soups and entrees ranging from shrimp and chicken to steak, there is always something to satisfy.My teenagers always enjoy sizzler as well. They love the choices on the menu and we don’t have to worry about one of the kids not finding something they will want to eat. As often as not, the kids will make multiple passes at the excellent salad bar that also has fresh fruit and crazy things like tacos, pizza, soups and soft serve ice cream. My family has always viewed Sizzler as one of the best values when eating out. p.s. They serve this amazing toast with the meals… 🙂
