I had a pretty good dinner here on Sun night. I got the ribeye and my son had the NY strip. Both cooked med rare (accurately) tender and juicy. Our waiter was great – attentive but not annoying. We enjoyed it and would return.
Hmmmmm……. A place you could call mediocre, and that is at best. It was my first time going and the service was great but the food not so much.I had the grilled shrimp over seasoned rice, and a house salad. the salad was fine just like you would see at any other restaraunt the seasoned rice looked and tasted like it came from a ric-a-roni box and as for the shrimp way over cooked and salted. after each bit (only took 2) I needed to drink a glass of water. the only reason i would go back there is because the lemonade was good however i can get the same stuff from any convenience store so i will not be returning.
NOW THIS IS PULLED PORK!!. Family of 7: 1 senior, 4 adults, 2 children, – $73.00 (3 waters, 2 sodas, 2 children drinks) The day before Father’s Day at 5:00 p.m. it was fairly packed, though we didn’t have to wait for a table. Immediately we had 2 bags of peanuts, 3 baskets of bread. The waitress was polite and very attentive. The baby blossom was very tasty. We had steaks, chicken fried steak, 2 kids meals and I had the pulled pork. Delicious!!! They pile the bbq pork on the plate. It melts in your mouth. Its around $9.00 and I brought half of it home for another meal, a lot of meat! It includes 2 sides – I chose a salad & sweet potato. Great Value. Our only problem was my mom ordered her steak well done and it came blood red in the middle. We sent it back and it took so long the rest of us were all finished eating and she got full on her baked potato. Customer service goes a long way and they fell short when re-cooking her steak. Instead of returning it with another baked potato which is customary for most it was just this lonely piece of meat. Other than that everyone enjoyed their meals and we brought home 4 containers of leftovers!!! Try their bbq or chicken fried steak. I hope you’ll like it as much as we did!!
Awesome steakhouse, best in idaho falls. Come here at least once a month and have never been dissatisfied
Overcooked steaks. We went on a recommendation. Our steaks were way overcooked. I ordered medium to have it served beyond well done. The rest of our meal was good. It was full and very noisy from the crowd, the bare walls, and loud music playing. If you like that atmosphere to have a good time and order sandwiches, you will probably love it.
Great Food, Just Don’t Ask About the Calories. I love Texas Roadhouse. The food is delicious and the service is great. Most of the dishes have HUGE portions, so most people will be bringing home the doggy boxes. I normally get their mini-cheese burgers (the perfect size for small stomachs), with a cactus blossom (deep fried onions, try it , its good) to share. I have only two reservations. The place can be crazy busy, so have a backup restaurant planed if you don’t want to wait for an hour or two. I also wouldn’t recommend the Roadhouse to anyone who watches calories or is on a diet. You do not want to know how many calories are in the food.
Well aged steaks and the baked sweet potatoes are the best I LOVE this place
