Same as the East Coast. Our experience at Famous Dave’s on Veterans Day went without disappointment. Their All American Barbecue Feast is a platter my wife and daughter can enjoy and still have plenty of food leftover to take home. I fell in love with Famous Dave’s and their Devils Spit sauce back in Maryland, I thought the taste would be lost franchise after franchise, but like I said, Famous Dave’s did not disappoint.
Too bad the service is so poor.. Food is average- but the service is always so bad it makes me wish I had gone elsewhere. With better BBQ options around- why put yourself through it?
Good BBQ, poor service. We have gone back a couple of times hoping the service would improve because the BBQ is good. Today the waitress comes over 20 minutes after we placed our lunch order and says she forgot to give it to the kitchen! The manager came out but did not acknowledge a problem. The restaurant was not busy so it must be a lack of concern on their part. We will not be back.
Always have had a god experience. We’ve been to Famous Dave’s numerous times because my husband loves them. Every time we have been, the food has been great and the servers have been very nice.
Decent BBQ at a fair price. Menu selection is a bit limited but if you are just looking for BBQ–not bad.

Really?. Had a pretty bad experience. Waited for quite a while to be helped. When we were helped we were told our wait staff was stuck in the bathroom that’s why…I was like seriously, they actually just said that? We were charged for a larger size than we ordered and they refused to correct it. Pretty much we should have alerted them that this was a bigger serving than we ordered on the lunch menu even though I had never been there before. I thought it was what I ordered. Food was so-so at best. I’ll never be eating here again.
