Good finger steaks bartender hates his life. Came in for lunch. Got the club wrap and the finger. Steaks were good and tender. Wrap was just ok even for bar food. Bartender was the biggest downer of the meal. Sulking around barely said a word. Kinda made the lunch feel like I was watching someone that just lost their mom try to work (Sorry Jeffrey if you actually lost someone today). I’ll be back for the finger steaks and good selection of beer.

Surprisingly Good. Went for dinner last Saturday with another couple. It was insanely busy and there was only one little gal waitressing but she did an awesom job. I ordered the french dip w/ fries and my husband ordered the chicken cordon bleu w/ tots. Ours friends ordered the french dip and finger steaks. Due to the amount of customers, it took awhile to get our food but both were really quite good. The french dip was smaller than in some places but the quality and tenderness of the meat was excellent and the au jus was flavorful with just the right amount of saltiness. My husband said his sandwich was good as well. Apparently, the finger steaks were also quite tender and tasty. We all decided that the Firehouse was definitely worth visiting again.

Best dive bar ever. This place is like Cheers. The staff remembers you and the food is really good. They don’t put mayo or butter on everything like a lot of places, and the menu has a lot of options, which works well for my husband and I who have totally different tastes. The fried pickles I had to try, and yes they are delicious. I love the french dip sandwich and mushroom burger, too. It’s a family-owned establishment with great service and food. They have an awesome list of beers on tap and the flat-screens make watching the game a great experience. Good place to go for the BSU games, but always get reservations to be sure you’ll get a spot.

We went there for the first time for dinner tonight. They advertised the beers Spaten Oktoberfest and Spaten Optimator. Steve ordered the Oktoberfest. They were out. So he ordered the Optimator. They were out. He wound up with Black Butte Porter. My iced tea tasted old.I ordered a French Dip with fries, and only wound up eating half. The au jus was basically a bowl of lukewarm brown lightly-salted water. Nasty. The fries were good.Steve ordered a garlic chicken parmesan sandwich with tots. It was okay, but the hot spice overwhelmed the rest of the flavor of the sandwich. The buns weren’t toasted – just grabbed out of a bag & slapped together. There really wasn’t much of an effort made. The service was good, and our waitress was very nice. Steve wants to go back just to try the wings. So we’ll give it one more try.
