I went here over month ago looking for a place to eat at The Village. My friend I chose this particular restaurant because it seemed to be the least packed out of all the restaurants that night (at The Village) and we wanted to check it out. We were instantly drawn by the authentic old school Italian decor such as the red and white checked table cloths etc. The environment was very well decorated. We ordered a bread and cheese plate and a couple personal pizzas. While my pepperoni pizza was decent, it was very much on the salty side. The appetizer was pretty disappointing. It was just a few slices of cheese and untoasted tiny white baguette. No spices or garlic or anything and it costs pretty much $10. My friend ended up paying for both of us and later revealed that the total bill, was close to $50. All we had was 2 personal pan pizzas, one soda, a water, and a shitty appetizer. My piece of advice: save your money and go to Old Chicago, and there’s other decent places in downtown Boise that’s affordable and have decent food

Service on Mar 14, 2015. Salad was great.Pizza taste was good, although the outer crust all the way around was was VERY done.Burnt taste everywhere on the outer crust.I will go again if someone pays for it, but I will not spend my own money again.

Great food, excellent service, reasonable prices for the quality food you get. One of the best pizzerias in the Treasure Valley. No doubt that it’s true New York pizza, of the Brooklyn variety. being a pizza snobs, originally from New York, we are partial to New York pizza slice joints. But Grimaldi’s was a great surprise. Number 2 for us, only because Guido’s is the pizza joint type of pizza we grew up with. Give it a try. You’ll love it!

$100 for a large pizza, 1 personal pizza, 3 salads and 6 sodas. Yep, $100. The service was very slow, the pizza a soggy, watery, tasteless mess. Stay away.

30 bucks for a pizza!. Never again! We waited 45 minutes for a large pizza that was just ok, The crust was black on one side and the cheese had no pull and it was very skimpy on the toppings….won’t go back.

Dirty mess. We decided to give this place a shot. Our server was stretched WAY to thin, so we had nominal customer service. Our pizza was burnt on one side and nearly inedible. The place is a filthy mess! Stuff all over the floor, you could see where the sweeping was and wasn’t done. And to top it off, the place is ridiculously expensive! A dissatisfying experience all around. If their kitchen is anything like the dining room, I wouldn’t ever want to eat there again.

Great food and even better service. Yes it costs more than your typical franchise pizza; if this is what you expect (being cheap) then don’t go. If you are willing to pay for upscale pizza, service and the experience, then you will enjoy it.
