Great food -poor service. I really enjoyed the food. I ordered the burger in a bowl which was great! There were only a few tables being used and rather empty but it took 15 to 20 minutes for anyone to get our order. At the end of our meal it took what seemed like forever for our waiter to bring our check. When he did he put it all on one check without even asking. After flagging another person down I told him we wanted our check split both ways and we wanted to order dessert. It took another 10 -15 min to have our waiter to take our order of one milkshake. By this time there was only one other table being occupied. We sat there for another 20 min for him to separate our checks. Although the food was very good, I will not go back and will not recommend this place to friends or family.
Best burger in Boise but don’t take my word for it!. I was in town on business and showed up at 5:45 PM on a Wednesday thinking I would have to wait for a table. There were two occupied tables on the patio and inside was empty! I have eaten at a few LA area Counters and they are always busy. The thought crossed my mind that maybe the beef here isn’t as good or maybe the toppings are sub par. Wrong! I defy you to find a better, cooked to order burger with more topping, sauce and bun combos. Heaven for me is 1/3 lb medium rare with blue cheese, house mustard and a fried egg on top. Why was that place empty? I don’t get it. Do people in Boise not dine out mid-week? Is there some kind of anti LA cool thing going on here? Whatever it is, Boise’s burger eaters are bypassing the absolute best burger in town.
Could improve. Been a couple of times and like the food, although the sizes are a tad small for what one pays. But, they need to step up the service a bit. Last time, we sat for close to 15 minutes after getting the menu before the waitperson came back for our order. The excuse? I was making milk shakes. Then when the food came, one burger was missing one of the ordered add-ons. Time for the check? Once again she was making milk shakes. Hopefully this was a one-time thing and they now have a dedicated milk shake maker, if it takes that long to make them.
Horrible. We were so disappointed! The food was just not good very small portions! Very over priced! Rather have eaten at McDonald’s and I don’t like McDonald’s!
Great food…unique selections. I had the best burger I ever had…more options than I could handle. I know high quality beef and it is the best. Mushroom, avocado and cheddar and onions!!!
Excellent food love the burgers, I read lots of bad reviews on Yelp and do not understand what people are thinking. this place has top quality ingredients and delivers a product that the people with boise is never had before. I hope more people with good taste continue to write a good review good luck to the counter
