Love this place. Have been here several times. On my last visit my niece had the Fish and Chips which was really good considering we are in Idaho. I had the Blackened Chicken Torta and Truffle Fries. We started with Fried Cheese and French Onion Soup. We ended our meal sharing the Dessert Trio. This place never disappoints.
Went with a large group from office to this large and nice enough place. Apparently this is part of a chain of restaurants that are popular. The drinks were good and the food was alright as well but the service could be better. You’d expect the server to remember which beers they brought the first round so that you can repeat, but alas! Bit chaotic and unorganized is the overall impression.
I really don’t like chain restaurants. Came here after a great day outside and was surprised by our food. We had the wings and the truffle fries. Original? No, but still tasty. I ended up ordering the ribs. It wasn’t the St Louis style but moist and flavorful. My son had the Jambalaya and was a pleasant surprise as well. The place has such a huge variety you can’t imagine what they are really good at (like Cheesecake Factory). Nevertheless tonight we had a good meal.
Great beer list and food, but sometimes a bit overpriced.I constantly see management (the white shirts) yelling at employees in front of us and other customers, which is super awkward.
I’ve been told time and time again how great the Yard House is, and to be honest, it didn’t live up to the hype. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad by any means, it just wasn’t anything to make such a fuss over. For starters, the service was average. She tended to our orders but then we didn’t see much more of her until it was time to pay -go figure-. Also, she forgot to bring out my order and had to ask what it was I was missing. It came out quick after that leading me to believe it was a service error, not one of the kitchen.The food was rather decent. I had a starter of truffle oil French Fries which were phenomenal (but then again, I’m a sucker for truffle-anything). Then I had the Korean BBQ Pork Belly tacos which were about what I expected, mediocre tacos that went a little too much on the sauce. The meat was ok but nothing to write home about, but overall they were very average… Not great but not terrible, just good.Personally, I find 3.0 to be an average grade which is perfect for an average meal.
This place was delicious! Basic menu options but jazzed up with flavor and finesse! We sat on the patio in the summer and enjoyed the fountain display and the fun atmosphere. I ordered the garlic seafood pasta and it was by far the best I have ever had! I would highly recommend this place as it sums up perfectly the type of American style food I enjoy!
Undecided…. …so I didn’t choose ‘I like it’ or I don’t’. Our first visit, late one evening for appetizers and desserts, was good. This was our second visit. It was okay. The food was fine. The service was friendly and slow. I don’t like the patio seating by the door. I think I need one more visit as a tie breaker to make up my mind.
