Comfortable delicious Lunch. This is the second time I have been to the Brickyard and the second time I was not diappointed. I took my wife out for an ‘after-mothers-day’ treat. I don’t get to dress up often since my job entails casual wear so this was a treat to sit with a beautiful woman and eat delicious food. we like to share our food so we ordered differently We started with the Brick Sticks which was Marinated and grilled sirloin, a generous scallop and chicken. The sauces Were so delicious that we ordered the Bleu Cheese cream sauce to dip our fries in also. My wife had the Black and blue Burger with the home cut fries and I had the hand formed Vegetable burger which consisted of Portabella mushroom and other healthy ingredients. The Server talked my wife into getting the Absolutely devine (their spelling) drink (with a little coaxing from me). This was a very refreshing drink and she ordered a second after the meal was served. I Finished that one for her.The Veggie Burger was very delicious, It was served on a Homemade baguette with condiments. I had the Ceasar salad on the side. This was the only disappointing part of the whole meal. The Dressing may have been made in house but there wasn’t anything special about it. The Lettuce was bright green and fresh but the salad seemed like it was made for the senior menu or the diet menu. It was too light and didn’t give me the feeling I was eating authentic ceasar dressing. My couple bites of the Black and Bleu burger did not diasppoint. I try to watch my cholesterol so I will not order this for myself but when I come back, I will make sure to sit by someone who did order it so I can get a couple bites again. I ended up dipping the last piece in the Blue Cheese Cream sauce. Like a true Gentleman, I left a bite or two on my plate to finish the meal but if I hadn’t been with my wife, I would have wolfed down everything in sight and licked the plate. My time at the brickyard was great this time and I look forward to saving for another lunch. FUJMDave
Good start!. Tried Brickyard today for Easter brunch, and it was great. Very tasty food, nice decor, good service. Looking forward to returning for dinner.
Food is good.. Excellent food. Service is marginal at best. Neither the servers nor the management seem overly concerned about anything. Had to wait extenively for our food. Would not recommend it. Lots of places in town that you can get a great steak with better trained staff and management.
Just came from brickyard. Most fantastic service ever! Loved the food! I am a brickyard convert! Beautiful decor, music, everything! Absolutely loved the place.
As recommended, we made a reservation for a Friday evening dinner. The drinks were good. The service and the food, not so much. Waited for nearly an hour for food. Nothing said by waiter regarding the delay until we asked. We were then told that the long wait was for the baked potato and that if we were willing to substitute something else we could eat right away. My steak had been sitting around. It was cool and tough. My wife said hers was very good.
