Amazing! The food is terrific.
My husband and I have eaten at Cafe Vicino over the past couple of years and have really enjoyed our experience there. For this reason we went back to celebrate our anniversary and were generally disappointed by most of the meal. Out scallop appetizer was undercooked and rubbery, the chicken in the main meal was a bit dry and too salty, and the tuna salad was not flavorful and a bit too peppery. The polenta was good, as was their flatbread, but that was about it. They have so many good ingredients and could do so much with the food they are serving, but unfortunately most of the flavors were unexciting and not did not complement each other. In addition to this, the service was also off. I’m generally not one to complain about service if the food is tasty, but all in all it was a disappointing combination. It seems like others have had less favorable experiences in the last few months as well.
