im sure it would have probably been good but their map as per google does not apparently mean they deliver within 2 miles so if you are not blocks away delivery is not an option menu looked good though kinda wish I could have tasted it.
I like it. The price is average to other sushi places in Boise. I kept seeing an ad on Facebook and so I finally went in with a friend. He got the Swagger with the Calamari Fries. The portions for the fries were a pleasant amount. I had one of his rolls and it had carrots and a few other things. I liked it but I’m very plain when it comes to my sushi. I had the name your fish. I had the salmon roll. It was very fresh although with both rolls that we had the bites of them were like huge. Instead of one biters it’s like two or three. I also had there salad . It was nice and light with a little spicy kick to it.As for location I would say it’s pretty centralized to where good parking is. You can park in the parking garage (first hr free) and walk a little ways and your right there. It had a very modern feel very plush. The orange chairs are very comfortable. Had it been warmer we would have possibly sat outside. I think the thing that surprised me the most is that they had all three kinds of the angry orchard wines you have to buy them by the bottle $15/bottle but Costco is selling the iceman for 12.99 so it’s not bad price for the others.
I don’t care for sushi but crave Dharma. The Lebowski is so good and the money bags are amazing! Try it!
A casual quick bite, mostly kept simple.. Dharma Sushi & Thai is working with an extremely limited space. I think this small menu restaurant is a much better occupant than the coffee shops kept in this location previously. I had the 20/20 and the Always Sunny rolls. Their presentation was nice, and even the paper plates looked nice. They use these, by the way, because they don’t have the room for dish washing, it helps save time, and maintains sanitation. The portions are generous. The flavors are that of somewhat complicated, Americanized sushi. The execution of the flavors is done well. The sauces aren’t overpoweringly sweet or tasting of mayonnaise, and the cream cheese was used sparingly. I’m a bigger fan of nigiri sushi or very simple tuna rolls, but I can see myself stopping by Dharma again for a quick bite before work. The …owner? I believe, at least, gave us samples of the cucumber salad and curry before we ordered. They were tasty but we were in for sushi. I’d recommend it if you’re seeking a casual bite and enjoy California rolls and the like.
The food here is really good. Not bad for the price either. I suggest the apocalypse roll and red Thai curry.
The calamari was amazing. My group had to get seconds. I’m not much of a sushi person but I definitely left very, very full and satisfied.
Hands down the best calimari fries I’ve ever had. Big thick pieces of calimari in a generous portion. Plus the red curry with shrimp…. Oh God, I would move to Boise just to eat here all the time.
