This place is awesome. Classic American breakfast with a boise twist. Must try the flannel hash.
Outstanding service and absolutely delicious food!. Best Eggs Benedict in Boise, hands down! You can’t go wrong here.
Service and food at goldy’s. I had a full body orgasm eating their breakfast… it was awesome. Service was great too !
Theeeeee breakfast spot of Boise. So many awards, they are running out of wall space. Just your quintessentially quaint Boise breakfast bistro. A must stop prior to leaving town.
Outstanding food. Crowded seating and quite noisy. If you want atmosphere and ambience, this is not the place. Food was wonderful with very well prepared omelets, stuffed with quality ingredients. Potatoes were also quite good. Portions were huge. Not use to ordering an omelet and not getting a bread selection with the meal — it was extra. Slightly greasy but not bad. VERY EXPENSIVE! Omelet, English muffin, tea and tip were over $25.00.
Good but sadly, going down hill…. Goldy’s used to be the SH*T for breakfast food, but sadly, the quality of the food is going down. For one, there is no way you’ll get a table in this restaurant on a Sunday or Saturday morning without at least an hour wait, even if you go early or late, and the food, while I used to be okay with paying more for quality breakfast, has gotten sloppy and greasier over the years. I still like this place, but good luck trying to go here if you’re hungry and want to eat within 20 minutes of your arrival!
To Greasy. Service was good.Portions were plenty large enough, but the food was way to greasy.I had a omelet with sun dried tomatoes, asparagus, mushroom and pepper jack cheese. Grease was running out of it… not sure from what???The meat I ordered was ham. Large portion and good.English Muffin for the bread choice.. It was dripping with butter… By all means get your toast dry!!!My bill for a 3 egg omelet with 2 extra topping (came with choice of 2), ham, toast and coffee came to $19.93 before tip. I’ll let you decide if that’s pricey for you or not..I my opinion: Teach your cooks how to prepare food without using so much oil, lower your price 10% and you would have a great place. Until then, I’m pretty sure I’m a one time only customer…..
