Went to the Fry company for lunch and ended up getting some dessert as bonus. Yeah, they have some exotic toppings similar to Voodoo doughnuts. For me, the dough was not as airy as VD doughnuts. The fritters were good, just not my favorite. But I do have a huge weakness for doughnuts. Yum
These doughnuts are freaking phenomenal!! A lot (pretty much all) of their ingredients are locally sourced and they’re made fresh every morning and you can tell. They taste fresh and they’re soft. I had the Hipsterberry doughnut. It was a regular round doughnut but the glaze was made with fresh berries and lavender. It was a blast of berry, and flower and deliciousness. Just make sure you have time to sit down and really appreciate these wonderful doughnuts. I wish I didn’t live 2 hours away so I could get one everyday. Or perhaps it’s a good thing.
