One of our favorites!. I have been to Moon’s previously several years ago, and my husband and I were in Boise today, so I wanted to take him there. Man, am I glad I did. It was AWESOME! He had the quesadilla burger and I had the malibu charbroiled chicken and it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The service was slow, but there was only really the one waitress. She was very friendly and the food was phenomenal, so we didn’t mind. Overall, it was a very good experience and we will DEFINITELY be going back!
Thumbs up!. I’ve been wanting to try it for a while, but became a little weary after reading some of the negative reviews. Finally made it down, and I loved it! The food was great, the price suited the portions, and they waitress was super friendly. I definitely plan on going back!
Perfect Weekend Breakfast Spot. There are many places for breakfast in Boise, some good, some bad, some overrated. Moon’s has consistently been a delightful spot to meet friends and eat breakfast. Our servers have been charming and funny, service was timely and the food very good. Love the homemade jams. Clean, bright, atmosphere and welcoming to singles, couples and larger groups. I have taken many out of town guests to Moons and we have never been disappointed. Thanks for many pleasant mornings in all seasons!
Good Food, Horrible Service. My family visited Moon’s on a Saturday morning, they were quite busy but we didn’t have to wait too long for a table. The runner brought our drinks and managed to spill hot coffee on my infant son’s arm, luckily he was still wearing his coat so he was not burned and I took him to the bathroom and cleaned him up. No one ever said anything to us regarding the incident though, the runner apologized but I don’t think he told our waitress or management. On another visit by myself it felt as though they were trying to rush customers out the door. I was given my bill without be asked if I wanted anything else. Had my waitress asked I would’ve ordered a shake.
Worst service thus far in my physical experience.. I’m not trying to exaggerate folks. Nor am I trying to be rude and send bad vibes towards a business, as a business owner myself..but these owners/servers/line cooks need to find another profession. This was by far one of my least favorite dining experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten all over the country and outside of it. Bad food, angry server, defensive owner, and excuses from everyone – saying it was super busy and that’s why it took an hour to get us our food..They did not comp us our meal, nor did they apologize. It was a very odd experience all around.
Good Eats. Moons Cafe is a nice little spot with delicious milk shakes and good eats. I had the corn beef hash and it was very nice. Overall it was a great experience and look forward to my next visit.
