We love the pantry. I eat there once a week. The waitress remembers my favorite breakfast. All I say is my usual. Food is excellent and the waitresses awesome. The owner and his wife are exceptionally nice people.
The service and food was far from good.. The service was soooo slow. It took over 15 minutes to get MY TODDLER a drink, AFTER they brought my coffee. They only came around 1 time to refill coffee. The food was nothing special, my toast was burnt. The gravy on the biscuit and gravy tastes weird. If your looking for a place with decent priced good breakfast food, go to the Capri in Boise, avoid the Pantry. I work in the food industry as a server, and I’m normally really lenient on mess ups, but this experience was the worst.
Rude servicer. I went there with my family dearing the hot air balloons there was 4 servicer one got are drinks and never came back to take are order then I think her name was Tammy she was walking around Asking if there order has been taken if it was not for her we would have just walk out thanks Tammy for the good service
This restaurant is one of Boise’s treasures. The home cooked food and a couple who has owned and worked at the restaurant for decades, combines for an unforgettable dining experience.
The pantry is a nice place. Usually for me, staff is good. And the phone on the wall to make your order? That is pretty cool. I would definetly go there again and urge others to try it.
OOPS!. You probably did not know that you use the phone on the wall to give your order. I eat lunch there often. It is cheaper than Downtown restaurants, less crowded, better food and much faster than most of the downtown spots. I love the fresh cut fries!
