The breakfast skillet was good, the biscuits and gravy not so much. On recommendation we tried a cinnamon twist. It was very dry and seemed a couple days old. It was quite a letdown considering that their twists are what they are known for.
While here recently I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak that came with Vegetables and mashed potatoes. The Chicken fried steak tasted like they had bought it frozen and just dropped it in the oil and fried it up. The Vegetables tasted like they had been frozen and microwaved. the only saving grace for the meal was the mashed potatoes and the Cinnamon twist. The oil they used to fry up the chicken fried steak tasted like they hadn’t changed the oil in a month. If they were going to continue business I think they should change over to a pastry shop and serve the pastry’s and pies and forgo the breakfast and dinner menu. One person in my party had to change his food pick because the option he chose was no longer an option on the menu but hadn’t been removed. The location is starting to show it’s age and seems to be starting look run down. If this restaurant is not failing it will be soon.
We just had one of the best meals ever here. Even our picky kids were stuffed to the gills by the time we were done. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
