They got too expensive. They don’t serve as much as they used to, then I order a double serving, only to be embarrassed, the waitress would out loud say, what a pig are you gonna eat all that. Its cheaper an better food at golden corral
Definitely have to echo the previous review about the hostess. I get being busy and stressed, but politeness is a MUST. food is great, huge portions and you can’t beat the price. Get the hostess to charm school and it’ll be perfect.
A Real Ol’Time Diner. Jeri’s in an institution in Pocatello – great breakfasts, good lunches – reasonable prices. They bake their own breads/biscuits(!!), soups are yummy. Bottomless coffee. Not a fancy place- it’s a family business in smallish location. No frills just great food!
I would just like to say Jumbos has amazing breakfasts, they are huge and tasty, that I can’t deny. But one thing that really irks me everytime I’m in there is their SERVICE!! The service is terrible. Rude hosts that get too overwhelmed when it starts to get busy, and some start yelling at their customers. This has stopped me for going in there for over a year. But when friends were in town, they wanted to go to breakfast, I figured, it’s been over a year, it might have changed..NOPE!! still the same snooty host and attitude!! We sat down, had our breakfast, same as always…delicious!!! I’d go in there more often if they would just start treating their customers better!! The food really is great! But if you want hosts slamming down your water glasses on your table, or talking about you to the other workers because you actually stood up for yourself, then I’d stay clear of this dive.

The best home cooking around!!. If you miss your mother’s home cooking, this is where you need to go to fill that void. The homemade bread & jams really is what pushes it over the rest. Love their food!
