This is my favorite place in Pocatello. I’m there at least once a week. The service is excellent, fast, and friendly. And the food is DELICIOUS! If I go to another Chinese restaurant, I always compare it to Ming’s and it always pales in comparison. The fried rice is excellent, so are all the lunch specials. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially for poor, starving college students.
Best Chinese Food in Town. Ming’s Cafe has been a family favorite for years. They never cease to amaze me with their warm and fast service (the restaurant is family owned and the staff is incredibly friendly), very affordable prices (their lunch specials are a steal), and incredible food! There are too many choices of dishes to choose from, and they are all flavorful and come out very quickly. I always feel very full when I leave since the portions are great. I highly recommend Ming’s!
Love Ming’s. I have been dining at MIng’s for several years and I have never received bad food or bad service there. They are fast and delicious and as an extra bonus, they are a great value. I love to see Ming’s get good business and hope it remains open for decades to come :p
Highly Recommended. I’ve been a long diner at Ming’s Cafe and it is the best Chinese restaurant in town. No other Chinese restaurant in Pocatello is as delicious, affordable, and family friendly as Ming’s. I establishing would recommend their egg rolls and potstickers. Both are packed with flavor and come with an amazing dipping sauce.
Absolutely love mings! Have been a regular for years now. The lunch specials are a great value, I suggest the honey walnut chicken or general tso chicken.
We went to Ming’s the other night expecting more. The egg rolls were golden with grease. The sweet and sour was hardly sweet mostly corn starch and not sour. The rest of the meal was the same Bland and Greasy. We had ordered 2 other dishes. Avoid unless you have a cold and can not taste anything.
Best Chinese in town. It seemed like the first times I went to Mings I was always the only one there. Now it seems like every time I go there are people there. It makes me very happy to see that at least some people are attracted to good food rather than sheer quantity vs. cost in Pocatello. My favorite dish that I always order and would recommend is there Orange Beef extra spicy with Lo Mein noodles instead of rice. It is excellent. Once in awhile I’ve gotten it overcooked so it tasted bad, but they are always very nice to me and treat me very well so I always come back. Very friendly service, good value, and the best Chinese food in town by far. The only crime is that they don’t deliver. (Still worth it to do take-out or dine-in)
