Great place for dinner. A snowstorm necessitated a stop in Pocatello and right across from the motel was the Sandpiper advertising great steaks. I am always a bit skeptical of this claim, but in this case it was true. Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, great waiter who was personable, attentive and knowledgable about the menu, and nice choices of steak, as well as Idaho trout. Definitely a great place to stop and easy to get back on 1-15.

We enjoy it. We have always had great service and the food has always been great! We will occasionally stop by later in the evening for some of their drink specials too. Nice place to eat and drink!
Good food, good service. We ate here after a long day of driving. The service was very good from the time we walked in. The food was well prepared and portions were perfect after a long day of driving. If we are ever in Pocatello we will eat there again.
Thank you desk clerk…. The front desk clerk at the hotel next door gave a whole hearted recommendation to the Sandpiper. she was so enthused that I figured she was probably related to the owners…..related or not we enjoyed a great meal at the Sandpaper on our way to Yellowstone.
Service was excellen food was great! Overall no complaints!
