-Update- 7/7/17Once again the Butter chicken was the best entree. The Bengan Bharta was a nice change of pace but was better the next day after the spices got more time to marry with the rest of the ingredients. This was the first time that the naan was rubbery and hard in spots (3 or 4 other times the naan was great). The Biryani was pretty bland. I wish that the spices were not left whole (I know other places do this and it is probably traditional) and served in the final product. Even if you sift through the rice and pick out all the whole cardamom pods and whole cloves, etc that you can find, inevitably your going to miss one. Few things ruin your palate for the rest of the meal like biting down on a whole clove. The chicken momos were quite tasty (although pretty greasy) as was the sauces they came with. But, most of the dumpling wrappers were not pinched off enough or at all which left you with the filling and a big flat greasy noodle. Hardly a dumpling at that point. These would be better if they were pan seared a bit to firm them up after being steamed. They likely wouldn’t fall apart as bad either.Note to owners: Please put paper bag inside a plastic bag or a box. When you haphazardly bag your food and extremely greasy momos in a paper bag, it leaks through on the customers upholstery. Turmeric makes a very good yellow dye. Turmeric is in a lot of curries/Indian food. Turmeric can and will ruin valuable upholstery.Note to prospective customers: Bring your own plastics bag (s) and/or box for carryout so you don’t ruin your car’s upholstery when this place half @$$es the packaging on your to-go order.-Very slow service. Pretty good. But not blow your socks off good. The tandoori chicken was not traditional tandoori(pieces). It was a leg and thigh quarter. It read kinda lazy to me. Because of this the spices didn’t really penetrate the meat the way that they should in good tandoori. In my mind, butter chicken and naan should not be the highlight at a good Indian restaurant.

Never disappointed. Tasty and fresh, with good earnest service, and reasonable prices. I leave satisfied every time. Pocatello needs more good local family-run restaurants like this, so I’d support it even if it wasn’t that good, but this IS that good – really delicious, fast, friendly, casual… worth a trip to the historic old town neighborhood.

Love the Buffet!. Please don’t ever stop the buffet. It is the best part of the place in my opinion.

Nepal and India are two different countries with lots of similarities yet differences. I don’t like it when some restaurant owners try to portray Nepali food as Indian to gain more customers. Its Indian food if u are selling vindaloo or biraynee.just say taste of India why give wrong impression of nepal

Don’t judge this book. From the ourside this main street resturant looks like it would serve up camel dung. But the interior is lovely, the service is even friendlier. The food is the most excotic you will find in a town with way too many subway sandwich shops. If you are looking for something a little different on your tongue stop by this jem of a resturant.

Excellent. Fresh and vibrant flavors, this little place is a must if you enjoy indian food, and it’s the only place in town! Vegetarians an carnivores both will be delighted. 2 dishes with rice and Nan (indian flatbread) for about $25 an will easily fill 2, maybe 3 adults
