Who would have known I would have been able to find a sweet and wonderful Indian gem in the middle of Pocatello Idaho, well I couldn’t have predicted that, but tonight I have absolutely found it with the Taste of India and Nepal. Here I enjoyed extremely authentic dishes, drinks and desserts worth relish. For starters there are bottled beers available to cleanse and start your palette, then to move on and begin your meal, might I suggest the delectable and extremely flavorful samosas? The curry was absolutely amazing and the tandoori chicken with succulent and flavorful. The lamb was so tender it was melt-in-your-mouth magnificentEverything about this menu screams wonderful. I couldn’t find one flaw and I really looked. I’m very picky when it comes to my Indian food, but I couldn’t find anything wrong tonight. All this delivered to your table by such a lovely family in a tiny restaurant at the edge of Old Town Pocatello. What a gem the people of Pocatello have in this wonderful Indian restaurant.
Great food,we stopped in from Spokane. We had the Palak paneer and tandoori chicken with garlic and cheese Naan. Service was awesome, place was relatively busy for 9pm on a Thursday.
-Update—-Tried this place again. The food is quite tasty (butter chicken, curry chicken and garlic naan). But the portions have gotten smaller. Not a very good value. But if you’re craving Indian food, this place does make good food. The tandoori chicken was not skewered pieces of chicken as I am used to. It was a whole leg and thigh quarter. Because of this the curry did not penetrate the meat as much as it should. It did taste pretty good though. The garlic Naan was pretty good. But, the best thing we ordered was the butter chicken.
