Everything on the menu is great!. It’s a small establishment, and if you go on a Saturday get there early or prepare to wait…..but it is worth it! The food is fantastic and the jam is to die for! No matter what you eat (we’ve tried it all), it’s all great!
…woke up in a truck stop the day after having peddled the White Rim Trail outside of Moab. Searched the Spoon for breakfast along the road back to Portland. Buffalo Cafe… Hmmm It was one of those places that beckons. Just after sunrise our server was on fire for the Saturday patrons. Greeting both locals and visitors with the same candor and hospitality our server (#10 according to the receipt) blew away our groggy minds with outstanding service as she told stories of having haunted her kids on Halloween the night before. Our food arrived in good time and was very appealing. Beans could’ve been warmer but everything else was great! We had the Corned Beef Hash and Pork Green Chile w Eggs dishes. They also brought 4 samples of their delicious homemade jams and preserves. Highly recommended. Good times!
Great breakfast. The Buffalo Cafe is probably my favorite place for breakfast in town.
I ate here this morning and wow, the reviews were accurate at this place. The buffalo chips breakfast was amazing. The biscuits were large and outta sight…the were the size of a slightly smashed baseball…and they had the flaky goodness that other restaurants only brag about…the homemade jelly came in wacky flavors like pineapple and peach. The raspberry jam melted in my mouth as it perfectly complimented every bite of my food. Lastly, the waitstaff was friendly and welcoming but not in a fake creepy nice kind of way..they were genuinely happy to serve us. This is place is a refeshing change from the same old same old.
Showed up and every seat was full. except at the counter seat. which was kinda not my favorite choice, but I would sit on a bed of nails for amazing food! I ordered the chorizo omelette… freaking awesome. so much cheese and sour cream… and the chorizo was hidden in the egg, could taste it in every bite. I got a biscuit with it… which was the size of a whopper! very good especially with their homemade jams. wish this place had more seats and was open longer. cantg wait to go back.
Real food, not FSA or Sysco! The service was friendly attentive and quick, the food was high quality and tasty and the jam brought back a taste memory from my childhood.
MMmmmmm!. Wow, chorizo omelet is a work of art! My niece hates eggs, and they were very easy in offering just about anything on the menu with them subtracted. She ended up with huevos rancheros minus the huevos. Don’t question, just eat here!
